What makes me unique
My work has always involved either information technology, as a unix system administrator or an Oracle database administrator, or documentation as a technical writer. At Content Pilot I feel fortunate (and, in a good way, challenged) in that I can combine these interests: refining the content of a proposal often requires a combination of programming and expertise in documentation tools.
The projects that I love
Because of confidentiality, almost all the work product I have produced over the years could be seen only by my company or my company’s clients. And that’s also the case with my proposal template-generating work at Content Pilot. But I can show my web print-to-PDF projects to other people— I can point someone to a website, say “click that button,” and then say, “that’s my work.” I have to admit, I enjoy that.
What makes me proud
I am proud that I have easily learned about the CP technology and flexible approach to creating dynamic content. And I am proud to learn and discover great new ways to solve client problems using the application. Another thing I’m proud of is the people I work with. I am continually impressed with the depth and breadth of knowledge and commitment to quality that they demonstrate. I take pride in being a part of such a stimulating environment.
